Desert Diamond This desert gem was definitely a diamond in the rough. The home is situated in a very scenic, private golf course community located in North Scottsdale. The views are amazing. The floor plan is open and well thought out. The only downside? The homes interior, including the wiring was 20 years old. Acme was charged with the task of updating the home's technology to today's standards, while keeping the demolition needed to install the new wiring to an absolute minimum. At the top of the list was adding basic structured wiring to accommodate the new DirecTV satellite system, adding multiple rooms of audio, as well as wiring for the computer network, both wired and wireless. Additionally, we added the infrastructure for 7 hi-definition video zones, 5 audio zones, and 2 surround sound zones. The wiring we added gives the client choices in technology they didn't know existed. Now they no longer have to run to Block Buster to rent a movie. They simply pick up their remote control, pull up the on-line Netflix Video Library, and within just a few minutes it's ready to watch! And with the spectacular city views from the rear patio, they can sit by the fire with a glass of wine, and if the notion presents itself, jump on the web to check the baseball score, or look up a favorite recipe. They now have all of the latest and greatest in technology, and best part of all? It's simple and easy to use!

The Ultimate Man Cave This 4000 sq. ft. "guest house" located in the heart of Scottsdale can only be described as amazing. Actually, "man-cave" would be a better description for this technology packed adobe abode. Every room in this two-story marvel is packed with the latest in technology, and controlled by a Crestron Home Automation System. The integration of [16] music zones, [7] distributed video zones, and a dedicated theater, as well as complete control of the lighting, heating/cooling, swimming pool, security, and surveillance from any of the [6] touch screen panels is seem less. If Batman saw this cave, he would want an upgrade!

Moon Landing This mountain top estate is truly exceptional in every category - location, city views, floor plan, and finish selection. Every detail, large and small was accounted and planned for, except for the technology. The builder had used another integration company for many, many years. When we met him he was looking for a change, and opened the door for us to propose our vision of what we thought a home of this size and scope might look like. We had several meetings with the builder, and many more with the home owners which allowed us to design a whole home solution that would meet and exceed the client's expectations. The final design included [22] music zones, [7] distributed video zones, and a dedicated theater. Viewing choices include [4] DirecTV satellite DVR's, as well as a Kaliedescape movie-server which currently stores more than 300 DVD's. Listening choices include AM/FM/XM radio, as well as access to over 1300 CD's which are also stored on the Kaleidescape server. And finally, a Creston home automation system to tie it all together. In addition to the audio and video, the clients have control over the heating & cooling systems, security, surveillance, and water features including the swimming pool and jacuzzi from any one of the [6] touch screen and handheld remote controls. Complete control from any room at any time with the touch of a button. Simply exceptional.
